Cheerleading is available to girls grades Kin-8th and focuses on developing basic Cheerleading skills which includes some stunting and tumbling.

Cheer team  2019-2020

Aug 16- Nov 7th 

Cost: $125

Cost includes Uniform, insurance and gym use parents will in charge of getting black leggings and white shoes for the girls



2021-2022 Cheer Team

Depending on the number of students that sign up the number of squads may vary. Everyone who signs up will be on a squad. Depending on the level of skill there may be an A squad and a B squad. This allows the girls who are ready for harder skills to move on and allows the girls who need more practice to master the basic skills.

            -Practices will start in August and will be TBD by the coach

            -The team will cheer through Football season and will be cheering for 5th-8th grade teams.
           -Cost for the year will be $125 which includes a full uniform minus the black legging and white shoes 

-Travel and transportation will be a combination of riding the bus with the football players and or having parents drive.

- Practices will be 2-3 times a week depending on gym or field availability.

-7th/8th graders MUST have a current health physical on file.

Volunteer Opportunities

I am always looking for parent volunteers. There maybe times where I as the coach can not attend a game and need a parent who can be at the game.

How do I Register?

This will enable you to create a household account and you will then be able to receive emails from YCTC about upcoming registration and other important events. Payment is due at the time of registration (if mailing a check - it is due within one week) or your child will be placed on a waiting list until we receive payment. 

What are the participation requirements?

1.  Online registration complete.
2.  All fees must be paid or payment plan agreed upon with the YCTC office.
3.  A sports physical is required for 7th grade and older athletes (once on file, a physical is valid for 2 years).
4. Equipment needed:
           -NO jewelry can worn at any time

            -Practices: Athletic and appropriate clothes and shoes                       

- long hair is expected to be tied up for practices and games
