Our goal is to provide an organized, educational football program for players in Kindergarten through 8th grade. We offer equal opportunity for our athletes to learn fundamental football skills including sportsmanship, integrity, and teamwork. It is our responsibility to provide a competitive yet safe environment to foster our players' appreciation of the game and develop life skills that extend beyond the game of football.

K-2nd grade FLAG FOOTBALL:  

​

Yamhill Carlton K-2 Flag Football is partnering with CPRD in Newberg for the upcoming season. All K-2 flag football players will register through CPRD using this link. YC athletes will be grouped together and will have the opportunity to practice locally in Carlton. All games will be held at Newberg High School.

Registration Period: May 1st, 2026 – August 21st, 2026

 

Game Location: Home games will be held Saturday mornings on the Newberg HighSchool turf field

 

Program Cost: $120 

 

Team Formation:

Teams will be comprised of approximately 10 players.
Games will follow a 5 vs. 5 format.
A coaches' meeting is TBD at the CPRD District Office (125 S Elliot Avenue).
Coaches will notify parents of team placements via email by September 9.

Coaching Opportunities

We are always looking for parents/adult volunteers to help by coaching Football or assisting teams as a Team Volunteer  We hope you will consider helping our program by coaching or volunteering. What are the participation requirements?

All fees must be paid or payment plan agreed upon with the YCTC Office before your athlete can participate. A sports physical is required for all athletes.
