About the Event

The Oregon Wine Country Half Marathon is truly a hidden gem, offering an experience unique to any of its sister events in the series. Hosted in Yamhill County in the heart of the Willamette Valley, participants rave about the small-town charm, incredible sunrise views, scenic course, great wines, and post-race Wine & Music Festival, presented by Ken Wright Cellars. Less than an hour from Portland, this thriving wine region is a favorite of Pinot Noir lovers and romantics who desire a less hectic vacation experience. If you aren’t already a resident or frequent visitor, you’ll be sure to fall in love with the area and this race. Bring your family and friends and plan to stay and play!

Volunteer

The Oregon Wine Country Half Marathon is coming up on Sunday, September 1st and we need your help!  Once again we have been chosen as the recipient charity for this event. YCTC and the YC Booster Club are working together for volunteer registration for this amazing event. With over 200 volunteer positions to fill, there is something for everyone!  Volunteer registration will open June 1st, 2018 for the upcoming event.

The Course

The 13.1-mile course begins at Stoller Family Estate above Lafayette and Dundee and takes a winding course through vineyards, orchards, and rolling countryside before finishing in the  Historic downtown of Carlton.
