Location: Carlton, OR
Dates: June 15 – August 13, 2026
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 4-hour shifts (8 AM–12 PM or 12 PM–4 PM)
Pay: $20/hour

About the Role
Yamhill Carlton Together Cares (YCTC) is seeking a positive, organized, and energetic Summer Camp Director to lead our 2026 Summer Youth Camp Program. This individual will oversee daily camp operations, support youth staff, and create a safe, fun, and engaging environment for local youth.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage daily camp activities for youth (elementary–intermediate school age)

Supervise and support a team of youth workers

Ensure a safe, inclusive, and structured camp environment

Implement weekly themed activities (sports, arts, outdoor recreation, etc.)

Manage daily schedule, transitions, and group organization
-
Assist Executive Director communicating with parents/guardians as needed

Handle basic behavior management and problem-solving

Oversee setup, cleanup, and proper use of facilities

Qualifications
-
Experience working with youth (education, coaching, childcare, camps, etc.)

Strong leadership and organizational skills

Ability to manage groups and maintain a positive environment

Comfortable leading both structured activities and free play
-
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
-
First Aid/CPR certified (or willing to obtain)

Preferred (but not required)

Experience supervising staff or volunteers
-
Background in education, recreation, or youth development
-
Familiarity with sports, arts, or outdoor programming
​
