Summer Programs

We aim to keep youth actively engaged throughout the summer months with affordable programs that continue to grow to meet our community's needs. This summer we are offering three distinct programs for the kids in our community, these programs include; Youth Work Experience (for youth 13-17), Tiger Academy (for youth 5-12) , and New Adventure Summer Camps (camps available for youth of all ages).

Youth Work Experience (YWE) is the foundation of YCTC's summer programs and is crucial to strength and success of our other programs and the charitable works of the community. Arguably, YWE is the most unique program in Oregon for youth 13-17 years old, offering employment opportunities for youth to actively engage with their community in a variety of ways. YWE experience connects workers with adults and businesses in their community and offers them the chance to serve as role models for their peers and younger youth. This summer, Youth Workers will be employed in five diverse areas within our community;

  • Summer Camp Aides

  • Summer Tiger Academy Aides

  • Work Crew Aides

  • Kids Camp Aides

New Adventure Summer Camps provide youth with a traditional day camp experience that provides fun and games integrated with hands on learning. Our camps cater to the desires of the youth in our community. Each camp explores a different topic that will help your child expand their learning and fuel their curiosity! This summer New Adventure Summer Camps will offer topics ranging from music and art to sports, science, and cultural explorations. All camps are priced below and typically run Monday through Thursday.
