Executive Director for YCTC
The Executive Director (ED) of Yamhill Carlton Together Cares (YCTC) is principally responsible for the administration, management and success of the YCTC programs that help children and families in our community. The ED is the primary public face of YCTC and is responsible for maintaining and enhancing our partnerships and good standing with the school district, city governments, other organizations and the wider Yamhill-Carlton community. The ED must quickly develop organizational knowledge of our existing work and work with the Board of Directors to maintain a vision for the advancement and expansion of programs to fit the evolving needs of our community. The position reports to the Board of Directors, and requires significant collaboration with other Volunteers, and Government and School Officials and Staff.
Primary Duties of the Position:

Program Administrative: The ED
(a) administers and supports the YCTC programs, ensuring their successful provision of activities for our community as well as their legal compliance and good financial standing.
(b) recruits and manages the Program Directors for each of our Youth Programs. This includes volunteer leadership for our various Sports Programs as well as paid staff for Learning for Life PreK and Tiger Academy;
(c) Ensures adherence to child safety protocols, including background checks, staff training, and maintaining appropriate insurance coverage. Ensures all childcare programs meet state and local health and safety regulations.
(d) maintains business office hours and communication channels with the community, serving as the face of YCTC, an interface for the community with YCTC programs, as well as in conflict resolution when required;
(e) is the principal liaison with the city governments, school district, and other for-profit and non-profit organizations in the community;
(f) Is responsible for updating and maintaining the YCTC website and social media sites
(g) reports on the progress of the above work in all areas to the Board of Directors at our regularly scheduled monthly meetings; [1] -
Fundraising: The ED
(a) Supports the Board and its various committees in their fundraising efforts;
(b) plays a central role in the creation of a more diverse fundraising strategy;
(c) collaborates with the board of directors on identifying, applying for, and administering grants to support all our work. -
Fiscal Responsibility: The ED
(a) approves Payroll for hourly employees and serves as a check signer and online banking administrator;
(b) tracks program financials to ensure their solvency and legal compliance
(c) is responsible for providing the YCTC Treasurer and Accountant with accurate and timely information on all volunteer hours, charitable donations and other financial activity
(d) supports the Treasurer and Accountant in the maintenance of all financial records and reports.
